One of my favorite things about Nozomi is the laughter that happens at work. Be it some practical joke, interesting story, or silly goof, the women are always ready to laugh. It makes me feel at home and part of the family. 

Before moving to Ishinomaki, I had never heard of Nozomi Project, much less imagined I would be a part of it. Today, I find myself looking forward to the hours I get to spend each week working with women who give so much in spite of having lost so much. They remind me that there is always hope.

You can usually find me crunching numbers on a computer or helping out with different administrative tasks.

During my down time, I enjoy wandering mountain trails or getting my hands dirty in my garden. Flowers and the great outdoors are my love language!
